Molasses

Thursday, October 7, 2004

Hi friends,

This week we are learning about fire safety. Here are some fire safety ideas:

  • When your house is on fire you never go back in for anything!” said Katie.
  • When your clothes are on fire you STOP, DROP, and ROLL!” said Walker.
  • When your smoke alarm goes off, fall to the floor and crawl to the door. Feel the door to see if it is hot. If it is hot, don’t open it. Yell for help and go to your window,” said Elizabeth.
  • Don’t jump out your window if it is too high up. Stay at your window and call for help,” said Trace.

Molasses sat in the driver’s seat of the pumper truck. He even sat on the front of the truck. The firefighters held Molasses and thought he was a good listener.

We hope you will be fire safe!

Have a beary good day!
