After Lagoon arrived at Mesnier School in St.
Louis, she went to the world famous St. Louis Zoo. It is a free zoo. Like
all younglings, she climbed the rocks in front of the North Entrance. |

Like many children, Lagoon rubbed the brass animals for
luck. |

One of the newer areas at the zoo is the Penquin Puffin House. Here
she posed with a replica of a puffin.

A decade ago an Asian male elephant was born named Raja. Now he is
the expecting father of 3 offspring. One of them, a female, is due very
soon. This was a fountain that was donated when Raja was born.

St. Louis has a large art show in one of the suburbs. The St. Louis
Art Fair has many exhibitors from around the country and lots of yummy
food. Some exhibitors demonstrate their art. Many local groups perform
music. There is a children’s area that is called Creative Castle.
Lagoon just hung around watching for a while but didn’t make a
hat or shirt. She didn’t want o get dirty before she goes to visit
new friends.
