Teddy Bear Picnic
Students practice their ability to plan and focus by organizing a teddy bear
picnic for the entire school. They are responsible for selecting a date, organizing
activities, advertising, etc.
Research
Students are given a list of species of bears (polar bears, black bears, etc.)
and construct a presentation on the species they choose. Presentations should
be fact-based and should incorporate material from various sources, such as
the Internet, books and magazines.
Travel Brochures
Students create a travel brochure on their city for the ImagiNations teddy bear.
This brochure will include area attractions, dining recommendations, etc. The
brochure may be included in the ImagiNations box and sent on to other schools.
