My teaching philosophy
I believe that as a teacher, every child I work with is special and worth every
ounce of energy that I put in.
My philosophy in action
Every day I try to connect with each child in my classroom. I try to make my
students feel special and worthwhile by letting them know that I care about
them and their success in the classroom. If I can help a student feel valuable,
then I’ve done my job.
My greatest teaching accomplishment
My greatest teaching accomplishment is receiving this prestigious award.
The most critical issue facing educators today
Money is almost always at the forefront of the issues facing educators. In addition,
teachers are challenged by their desire to keep up with the technology, changing
textbooks and curriculum in the classroom.
Ways to resolve this issue
I thank the good Lord every day that I work for a good principal and school
division that takes pride in using its resources to benefit the students. If
there is something that I need for my classroom, my principal is always in my
corner to help me reach that goal.
One thought to inspire other teachers to succeed
Every student is worth the effort that you put forth in your day to day teaching.
One lesson every student should learn
Teachers really do want you to succeed and they will work extra hard for you
if you put forth the effort in return.
