My teaching philosophy
I believe teaching is a gift and that we need to devote a lot of time to develop programs that are motivating and that bring excitement to the classroom.

My philosophy in action
I believe the SMART board and the Internet visual and video audio capabilities have opened up a new world for us in the classroom.

I have started to use the SMART Board this year to make my classroom come alive, and my children love it.

My greatest teaching accomplishment
This award has been the highlight, and I am grateful.

The most critical issues facing educators today
The need to help those children who are becoming visual learners and who need stimulation that will excite and motivate their learning.

Ways to resolve this issue
The new technology is waiting for us as teachers to bring this into our programs. Let's use it!

One thought to inspire teachers to succeed
The world of technology is providing the opportunities to excel. We need to voice the need for hardware and software to make it more possible.

One lesson every student should learn
That learning is a lifelong skill.
