For the fourth year, the SMARTer Kids Foundation is proud to sponsor Alberta Learning’s Excellence in Teaching awards. Honored for their dedication and commitment to their profession, twenty Alberta teachers received a copy of SMART Ideas concept-mapping software as part of their sponsorship.

Top teachers received the SMARTer Kids Foundation Innovative Use of Technology award, which included the following products:

• SMART Ideas concept-mapping software (25 copies)
• NEC VT470 projector
• Dana by AlphaSmart Palm OS laptop alternative
• Kar2ouche software single-user license and two topic titles (school site license)
• Krucible software single-user license
• 32-pad Classroom Performance System (CPS)
