Dr.
Ron Sniderman
Wayne Regional Educational Service Agency, Michigan
Dr. Ron Sniderman, MACUL Educator of the Year 2005-2006 For the past 27 years,
Dr. Sniderman has worked for the Wayne Regional Educational Service Agency in
Wayne, Michigan, most recently as their Executive Director of Instructional
Technology and Media. In his role at Wayne RESA, Dr. Sniderman plans, designs
and implements the virtual resource center by collaborating with an interdisciplinary
team from instructional services, professional resource services, library services,
television services, educational technology services and computer services to
strategically plan for the future of instructional and technological services
to meet outcomes based needs of learners. Wayne RESA serves 34 school districts
and nearly 350,000 students in Detroit and surrounding area.
Dr. Sniderman holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration and Educational
Technology from Wayne State University, a Masters degree in Educational Administration
from Ohio State University, and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Education
from Oakland University. Dr. Sniderman serves on the adjunct faculty at Eastern
Michigan University, and also is a member of the Discovery Education Advisory
Board.
