On the evening of April 25, 2006, the SMARTer Kids Foundation and its co-sponsors were delighted to host a relaxing dinner for the 2006 National Teacher of the Year nominees and their guests in Washington DC. Held at the lovely Wyndham Washington Hotel in downtown DC, the evening was a social opportunity for teachers, sponsors, and guests to get to know one another outside the technology training rooms.

Representatives from the Foundation and each of its co-sponsoring companies congratulated the teachers and thanked them for their invaluable contributions to education.

A teacher-feature photo tribute gave everyone a sneak peak into the classrooms of America's top teachers.
