On Wednesday, April 25, 2007, U.S. State Teachers of the Year attended a Tech-Champions Workshop, hosted by the SMARTer Kids Foundation.

This was the second technology-training event held for the 2007 Teachers of the Year, offering the teachers the opportunity to refresh their skills, learn advanced features of the technology, and most importantly, get hands-on with their TEA Technology Classroom products.

Guided by technology facilitators, the teachers gained the professional development necessary to integrate the products into their classrooms and the opportunity to collaborate with their peers on new and exciting ways to motivate their students through the introduction of technology.
